Why Wood-Pressed?

Getting the Best from Your Yellow Mustard Oil
How to store
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat — not right next to the stove.
- Keep the cap tightly closed after every use.
- Never let water or a wet spoon get into the bottle.
- Best before 12 months from the date of packaging, as printed on the label. Once opened, use within a few months for the best aroma.
Natural sediment: wood-pressed oil is not heavily refined, so a little natural sediment or slight cloudiness at the bottom of the bottle is normal.
How to use
- Everyday sabzi & dal tadka: heat until it just begins to smoke, lower the heat, then add your tempering.
- Pickles: a milder mustard-oil base for chilli, lemon and mixed-vegetable achaar.
- Raw use: its comparatively milder taste suits aloo chokha, salads and chutneys.
- Shallow frying: pakoras, cutlets and parathas on steady medium heat.
